How big is each slice of cake?
One slice measures 2x1x4 inches, a tasting portion that is used widely
as an industry standard. If you wish for the slices to be larger or
smaller, do let us know and we'll be glad to recalculate the yield and
price for you. |

How soon must I place my order?
At least two months before your event please. This will give us enough
time to design and produce a truly personalized cake for you. It will
also allow time, if need be, to mail-order special decorative cutters
and tools to achieve your dream cake.

How do I pay?
A 50% deposit is required to secure an order. The remainder is payable

Do you do only fondant-covered wedding cakes?
Yes. Fondant, a type of sugarpaste that can be rolled and stretched to
cover different shapes and heights of cakes, offers a gorgeously
smooth and stable base on which to add decorations. Fondant has long
suffered a bad rep for tasting like a cross between mouldy cardboard
and your grandma's talcum powder. But the Swiss-made fondant we use is
delicious - think the white filling in Oreo cookies. |

Won't fondant make the cake too sweet?
It will to some, not to others. If you find it too sweet, just peel it
off and banish it to the far end of your plate, then enjoy the
insides.

| 8) |
Are fondant cakes suited for outdoor events?
No, unless you want to demonstrate to your guests the annihilistic
powers of Singapore's climate on confectionery. Air-conditioning is a
must for fondant cakes to look their best. |
| |
|
| 9) |
Can the cake be refrigerated?
Fondant will become rock-hard after chilling in the fridge. Once left
to stand at room temperature, condensation forms and it will become
sticky. The decorations may even wilt. Therefore, chill your leftover cake only after the party's over when you no longer need it to look fab.
